Fascinating to learn of this park! I've recently become quite interested in Ethiopia, I suppose because I still know very little about it. I pictured it as a desolate land, mostly desert, with some dusty hills & ridges. I've already been flabbergasted to learn that it contains full-fledged mountains occupying a huge amount of its territory, areas of lush green vegetation, lakes, & waterfalls, not to mention at least 2 national parks! What led me to these discoveries was, as a train buff, I was curious to know if Ethiopia possessed any railroads---as a possible subject for the setting of a model train layout, as I'm also a model railroader. Ethiopia would be a totally new region for me to plan & conceive! I now know there's one mainline, extending from Addis Ababa to Djibouti, originally constructed by the French, recently discontinued & rebuilt by the Chinese. I had no idea! Ethiopia's becoming more fascinating to me with each passing day!
